Thankyou for the tremendous response to our consultation on the A465 links at Penywern ponds.

We had 245 responses with over 95% agreeing with our proposals. From the survey it would seem that these proposals could increase footfall in the area by at least 20%.

Over 95% of you would like to see improvements to the play provision on the route, with 65% of residents in the area having children under the age of 17.

Only 25% of residents use the public transport in the area.

We had 110 additional comments and we are busy working through these to see what we can implement as part of the scheme.

Welsh Government should be announcing the successful bids in the Spring and as soon as we are able we will inform you of the outcome.
